DESCRIPTION OF THE REFINING METHOD
We offer the refining method of the carbon-containing waste of the following various types
- Coal dust, coal slurry, oil sludge, oil-contaminated and bilge water, wastewater sludge, silt deposits (new silt, hard silt, aged silt of the landfills)
- Any fraction and moisture by the thermo mechanical way of wastes degradation in the anoxic environment and by the non-catalysis one into hydrocarbon fractions (thermolysis).
This is a multistage reactor system, working at various temperatures, at motion speed of the chemical reagent and its own heat interchanger at each stage. It enables to divide and condensate hydrocarbon gases and increase the extent of the physico-chemical processes. Thus, waste of hazard classes 2-4 are involved in the turnover of commodities, derivative products become goods.
Our installation and technologies comply with all of the following criteria
Since 2014 we have applied the installation of our manufacturing process for the internal requirements, continuously improving it. We have accumulated great experience in putting this technology into practice in field conditions.
- The rapid thermolysis method, mentioned above, is superior to pyrolyzation, carbonization at low temperature, incineration, plasma and bacterial disposals etc.
- It is a well-known fact that all these methods require extra space and energy costs, vast investments into expensive equipment and construction, supplementary expensive off-gas decontamination, high disposal operating costs etc.
- The use of co-current steam reactor together with the new system of treatment stage excludes the necessity in waste swabbing.
- Rapidly cooling systems of thermolysis allow constant product treating.
UNDENIABLE ADVANTAGES OF THE MENTIONED THERMOLYSIS INSTALLIATION
The absence of any hazardous emissions. Air emissions CO2 – lower than acceptable concentration, the other gases are traces.
The biotesting results show that water going through solids (solid residues) do not exert toxicity for Daphnia magna Straus. Thus, it proves the lack of toxicity of the refining finished product.
Lower power consumption (1,2 kW per 1 cub. m. of waste refining) allows to work both from main-power and diesel generator. Close refrigerant circuit.
The line is modular-constructed (Lego blocks, Ikea furniture etc).
Loading and unloading nozzles, rapidly cooling system of the thermolysis product, which is non- condensing, maintain high speed and process continuity.
According to the technical specification, line capacity may be:
Minimum – 10 cub. m per day,
Maximum – 200 cub. m per day
High refining depth
Reaction control and supervision of thermomechanical process, possibility of the reactant mixing allow the increase of high refining depth without extra expenses.
The dimension of one module is 20-foot container
Fire explosion safety
Flow resistance in the reaction vessels is eliminated.
Lack of oxygen access eliminates the process of burning as well as the ash formation, dioxin and furan.
Lack of high-top gas pressure.
THE REFINING WAY OG OIL SLUDGE AND COAL DUST
Our company has elaborated and tested the refining technology of oil sludge and coal dust both new (including watered) and aged (stored).
The technology includes several system unites: the module of feed preparation (transportation, drying, grinding), the module of thermolysis in the anoxic, non-catalyzed environment, the module of gases condensation, the speeding up of liquids, the module of oil-carbon sludge afterburning, the module of packaging and keeping refinery products.
OIL SLUDGE REFINERY PRODUCTS
Liquids – 30% (mixture of hydrocarbon liquids).
Biogas, synthetic natural gas (mixture of hydrocarbon gases) – 40% for own requirements – burners of the thermolysis installation). Solid residue (sterile soil) – 10% (transported autonomously for own requirements).
Solid residue (sterile soil) – 10% (transported autonomously for own requirements).
COAL DUST REFINERY PRODUCTS
Liquids – 20% (mixture of hydrocarbon liquids).
Synthetic natural gas (mixture of hydrocarbon gases) – 50% for own requirements – burners of the thermolysis installation).
Solid residue (carbon, carbon-based materials) – 30% (used for SMW landfill spilling as decontamination of landfill sewage waters).
THE FEASIBILITY OF THE DISPOSAL TECHNOLOGY
The feasibility and working capacity of technology are proved by the researches of the Russian National Research Institute for Oil Refinery (OJSC “RNRIOR”), Design and Technology Institute of Carbon Black SB RAS, Fossil Fuel Institute of Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, A.V. Topchiev Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis, RAS. Independent expert opinions are presented:

The main equipment of the presented system is mastered by the industry, is not in low supply, is easily automatized.
The use of the waste disposal installations mentioned above allows to produce zero-waste disposal. Thus, it reduces the transportation of the waste to landfills, the waste will be involved in economic turnover as a supplementary source of raw materials.
The installation mobility, independence and small size make it indispensable in emergency management, objects of unauthorized waste placing, objects of accumulated environmental damage.
Simple design, high capacity and high reliability along with the feed rate continuity enables to cope with reasonable amount of various waste disposal.
